Billed as one of the largest creative festivals in Asia, Tokyo Design Week attracts more than 100,000 visitors for a 12-day extravaganza devoted to design. From a “super robot exhibition” to architectural models and interactive art, this event has it all.

Autodesk Gallery
Running October 26-31 and November 2-7, the renowned Autodesk Gallery is going on the road to exhibit and share the future of making things with attendees, including a special, close-up look at AutoCAD’s use in designing the epic Shanghai Tower. The Autodesk Tokyo Design Week booth is located at IA-2 in the Interactive Exhibition area in the main tent. Workshops on 123D and Autodesk Fusion 360 are also scheduled throughout the week.
Design Night
A special edition of Design Night—Autodesk’s monthly speaker series—will take place on October 27 from 6:00 – 9:00 p.m. in the Ringo Fes tent. With the theme of “Make Anything,” attendees will hear from art and fashion designer Yuima Nakazato and Rosa Uchima, chief product designer at Quantum. These events tend to fill up quickly, so get there early to grab your spot and enjoy the food and drinks.
PechaKucha
If that wasn’t enough, Autodesk will also participate at Tokyo Design Week’s PechaKucha Night on October 26. Maria Giudice, Autodesk’s Vice President of User Experience, will share her views on the growing importance of design.
