1. Select the Paint Effects tab on the Maya shelf.
2. Select the Simple Tree brush and paint a single tree in your scene.
3. Select Modify > Convert > Paint Effects to Polygons.
4. Change to the Select Tool and select the leaves.
5. In the FX menu set, select nCloth > Create nCloth.
How do you make roses in Zbrush?
For a rose, start with a plane and mask the general shape of its petal. Once masked, go to Tool > Subtool > Extract. Edit the thickness as you see fit, and then click Accept. This will create a new Subtool from your mask.
