Interview on the Global Industrie trade fair with Guillaume Anelli, operations director for Visiativ

What are your challenges?

“Our first challenge after a very good first semester is to succeed at the end of the year, where we do 50% of our business – in particular with the release of new versions of SOLIDWORKS and 3DEXPERIENCE. We have before us a big program of events in the regions to meet and support our customers; it’s a lot of perspectives but also a little pressure.

Second challenge you have to revive the dynamic and getting people back to work by relying on a more fun and meaningful experience At Visiativ, for example, we have 80 open positions and recruiting has become difficult. We have taken over all the teams to unify them and improve our customer service by offering them a single point of contact.

Third challenge, the SIF, the launch of a collaborative platform, at the initiative of the Ministry, which will allow SMEs to connect and collaborate to respond to calls for tenders to project leaders to submit offers and to solution providers to consult them. We had to accelerate very hard to design this platform and present it this fall. “

What surprised or amazed you about the Global Industrie trade fair?

“The desire and the pleasure that people all have to talk about, to see us again. I am really very surprised at the quality of the contacts we had at the show. This clearly shows that people remain a priority, including in an industrial world. “

How do you see the future of the industry?

“First of all, the future of the industry is the collaborator. We mentioned it, it is essential to give it its place, to enhance it, to include it in all processes. An employee who is good at his job will be more efficient. The tools and digital solutions must enable it to better manage its performance. Human / machine collaboration is a real subject.

Second challenge for the industry: the information security, cyber security. The doors giving access to information were opened and the risk has become enormous for SMEs or mid-cap companies which do not currently have the means to protect themselves. More collaboration must be accompanied by more data security.

And then the digital transformation business is not over, far from it. They must accelerate and reduce design and manufacturing times to retain or develop their markets. We are ready to support them in this acceleration and confident in the strength of our industrial fabric. “

Thanks Guillaume!
