Why is DraftSight no longer free?
Because Dassault Systèmes say that if you download the new version you will only get a 30 day free trial and thereafter you’ll need to pay. All free versions of Draftsight will stop working after December 31, 2019. If you want to continue using Draftsight after that date you would need to purchase a Draftisght license.
