Maxon announces agreement to acquire Pixologic assets

Los Angeles, CA, December 14, 2021 – Maxon, a developer of premium creative tools for artists, today announced that it has entered into a definitive agreement to acquire the assets of Pixologic, the creator of the sculpting software and award-winning painting, ZBrush. The acquisition is expected to be completed in the fourth quarter of 2021 and is subject to regulatory approval and customary closing conditions. Until the closing of the transaction, each company will continue to operate independently. At the close, Pixologic Founder and CEO Ofer Alon and his team will join Maxon. Further details relating to the transaction will be disclosed following closing.
