Maxon Adds Unreal Engine Support for Magic Bullet Looks

Friedrichsdorf, Germany – November 16, 2021 – On the heels of the release of version 15 of Magic Bullet, a collection of tools for color correction, retouching and cinematic effects, Maxon is pleased to announce the release of a feature-rich Service Pack for Magic Bullet version 15.1. This latest version supports, for the first time, Epic Games ‘Unreal Engine 4, allowing users to use Looks’ powerful toolkit for color correction or creating effects to apply. to viewport or volumes.

The update also incorporates AVX support for Cosmo, Mojo, Film and Renoiser, providing four new tools, giving more creative choices and flexibility to editors and colorists on Avid. In addition, Denoiser is now compatible and optimized on Metal for Apple Macs equipped with Apple Silicon chips, as well as support for multi-image rendering (MFR) in Adobe After Effects. In addition to these important compatibility updates, many minor and stability improvements are included in this maintenance release.

This important update is available immediately to all Red Giant Complete and Maxon One subscribers. Users are encouraged to update with the Maxon App immediately. When you are logged in to the Maxon app, you will see a button informing you to “Try the new Magic Bullet suite”. Clicking on this button will start the download of the suite and when completed the installer will open. Follow the installation steps and you will be ready to take advantage of all the wonderful updates in this Service Pack.
