AllPlan Designed to build with Cinema 4D

Architectural engineer working in the family studio in Italy, Enzo Pasqua has been designing projects using BIM (Building Data Modeling) specifications for five years. Using Allplan’s object-oriented 3D design software, he mainly designs concrete and steel structures.

But Pasqua also has experience in architectural visualization and as a freelance he uses Cinema 4D and Allplan to create photorealistic images for a wide range of architectural projects.

To learn more about how the integration between Cinema 4D and Allplan has served Pasqua, we asked him to tell us about several recent projects.

When did you start using Cinema 4D and Allplan?

Pasqua: I started using both programs at university. I already knew what I wanted to do because of the family business, which we have had for three generations. My style is more focused on architectural visualization, but I also have an engineering background, so I’m in the middle between architect and engineer.

How does this combination of software help you in your work?

Pasqua: I think the two programs work very well together because they complement each other in so many ways. Allplan has powerful architectural tools that allow architects and engineers to model architectural elements very quickly and parametrically. And Cinema 4D handles all the complex geometry with the ability to make scenes with the details you want and PBR materials.
