Have You Tried: Integrate the QuickCalc Calculator

Wouldn’t it be nice to be able to extract data from geometric objects, perform calculations on the values, and then send the results as input to a command in progress?

The answer to this question is as easy as entering QC in the AutoCAD Command window or clicking the QuickCalc tool on the Home tab, Utilities panel.

QuickCalc provides a large number of standard operators, scientific and engineering operators, custom variables, and geometric functions. Here’s what QuickCalc looks like by default along with a quick demo of how it can be used.

You can start applying QuickCalc in just minutes. To learn how easy and practical it is to use QuickCalc as you create and modify objects, see Integrating Calculations with Your Drawing Workflow.
