The Autodesk App Store includes a variety of apps for AutoCAD that can make your life a little easier or even broaden your use of the software. The free Scatter app does both by using a random number generator that nudges objects in different ways for a more natural look.
According to the developer CAD Studio, Scatter applies uniform or normal distribution or can randomly rotate, scale, thicken, or recolor selected objects.” The goal of the app is to add a “real-life touch to automatically generated arrays.”
