Presentation of the Jellypipe as part of the webinar series “Additive Manufacturing”

In cooperation with the technology state of Hesse, the Transfer Initiative Rhineland-Palatinate has been running the free webinar series “Additive Manufacturing” for some time. In this context, Mr. Polyzogopoulos and Mr. Strohschein will give a lecture on May 14, 2019, between 4 p.m. and around 5 p.m. This is headed “jelly pipe: platform for brokering 3D printing jobs with a unique ecosystem”. The business model of the jelly pipe is to be presented here. The focus is on the question of how this came about and what advantages such an ecosystem can offer.

Monthly online seminars

The Jellypipe talk is part of a series of free monthly 60-minute online seminars. These seminars provide information about additive technologies and materials and their applications along the entire value chain. This series also includes lectures on the following topics: education and training, research projects, practical examples and business topics.

Transfer initiative Rhineland-Palatinate

The project “Transfer Initiative Rhineland-Palatinate” of the IMG Innovations-Management GmbH, Kaiserslautern is supported by the Rhineland-Palatinate Foundation for Innovation. It focuses on these 3 main areas: “Industry 4.0”, “Personalized Medicine” and “Lightweight Construction and New Materials”. The project thus follows the guiding principles of the state’s innovation strategy. At the same time, it focuses on those 3 areas in which Rhineland-Palatinate has particular strengths.

As a subsidiary of the investment and structural bank of Rhineland-Palatinate (ISB), its primary task is to ensure competitiveness
especially for medium-sized companies based in Rhineland-Palatinate. This is done in particular through technology transfer and innovation management measures.

Technology State of Hesse

For Hessen, the Technology & Innovation department of Hessen Trade & Invest GmbH promotes, namely under the brand “Technology State of Hesse” . The focus is on the promotion, application and marketing of important key technologies. On behalf of the Hessian Ministry of Economic Affairs, “Technologieland Hessen” offers numerous services for Hessian companies.

In the Hesse Trade & Invest GmbH (HTAI) is the economic development company of the
State of Hesse. Its most important task is to secure and increase the competitiveness of Hessen as a business and technology location. The HTAI acts as a central contact for companies from and in Hesse. A particular strength of the HTAI is its interdisciplinary structure, as well as its broad networking. In this way, HTAI brings actors together, identifies trends and implements concrete measures for the economy.
