Paint Easter eggs online and then print them out on the 3D printer
Since 2014, the rapidly advancing digitization has enabled a variant of the good, old Easter egg painting that is still little known to the general public, namely online painting and subsequent printing of the Easter eggs on a 3D printer. This exciting innovation is made possible by an app called “3D Egg Painter”, which is absolutely compatible with ours 3D online configurator comparable, easy-to-use tool for designing 3D models online.
In concrete terms, the whole thing works like this: With the left mouse button, the planned (for the time being purely virtual) Easter eggs are painted, with the right mouse button they are rotated in order to be able to view and edit the rear and side parts of the egg. Once the processing is complete, the finished Easter egg can be printed out, for example via a 3D printing shop.

There are hardly any limits to the imagination. For example, at an Easter egg 3D printing event held in 2014contest Eggs with the more or less grinning faces of Angela Merkel, Barack Obama, Francois Hollande and Pope Francis.
Some 3D printing visionaries even predict that in the near future, the tradition of boiling, blowing out, painting or similarly decorating real Easter eggs could be more or less completely taken over by 3D printers. Whether it will come to that is of course open to debate, but Easter eggs from the 3D printer definitely offer a creative complement to traditional Easter egg painting.
